About me

I am Vivek Sinha — a photographer based in Reading, Berkshire, UK.

Photography, for me, began with travelling: new places, new culture, new cuisine — and always new photographic opportunities. Along the way I found that the camera kept pointing at the things I already loved. Landscapes at sunrise and sunset, oceans, lakes, rivers and clouds. Animals, birds and insects, with all the abundant beauty there is to be enjoyed in them. And people — faces that carry their own stories, whether in a studio or on a street corner in Kathmandu.

Away from the camera, classical instrumental music is the best food for my soul, and I believe in harnessing new technology for comfortable living — this website being a case in point.

In 2014 I was awarded the LRPS distinction by The Royal Photographic Society — hard-earned, and worn proudly.
